12 step-by-step guides on every RankTalk feature — how to navigate the workspace, use all 24 slash commands, operate the cross-project inbox, connect external tools, configure security settings, and set up the AI Compose panel. Every guide uses screenshots from the live interface.
From first workspace setup to enterprise security — every guide built around concrete, day-in-the-life workflows.
A dedicated view accessible from the top navigation. Shows @mentions, alerts, thread replies, DMs, and integration events from all connected workspaces in a single filterable list.

A tour of the full RankTalk interface — the workspace sidebar, channel list, message area, member panel, slash command bar, and inbox view — before diving into any individual feature.
Step-by-step from the sign-up screen: create a workspace, create a channel, send a message, connect RankOps from Settings → Integrations, run /task, and configure the notification settings panel.
How to create a workspace, add a project inside it, and add channels inside the project. Covers the New Workspace wizard, the Project Settings panel, and the Channel Settings modal — with the key toggle and dropdown options explained on each screen.
The complete slash command reference — every command, its syntax, the form it opens, and the output it creates. Organised by category with a screenshot of each command's inline form.
How to invite a member, assign a role from the dropdown, and read the capacity bar in the member panel. Covers the role permissions table and where each role's access limits appear in the interface.
How to open the inbox view, apply type and workspace filters, use keyboard shortcuts to mark items as done, and configure which event types appear via Settings → Notifications.
How to connect a channel to a RankOps project, which slash commands become available after connecting, how to run /sprint and /standup from the channel, and what each system message looks like in the thread.
How to enable each integration from Settings → Integrations, which event types each tool posts to channels, and how to use the event filter to control what appears in each channel.
How to connect each external service via the OAuth flow in Settings → Integrations, how to configure a custom webhook URL, and where to find the API key and REST API documentation.
How to configure the white-label branding panel (logo, colour scheme, custom domain), set up the standard project structure for a new client workspace, and use the workspace template feature to replicate the structure for future clients.
How to open AI Compose from the message bar, select a message type from the dropdown, edit the draft, and send. How to use the semantic search bar and the thread summary button — with a screenshot of each.
Where each security setting lives in the interface: RBAC controls under Settings → Team, SSO under Settings → Security, retention policies and audit log export under Settings → Compliance, and self-hosted deployment options under Settings → Advanced.
The inbox view is the first thing I open each morning. Every @mention, alert, and thread reply from all 6 client workspaces is in one list — I use the keyboard shortcuts to triage it without touching the mouse. It takes about 4 minutes.
Running /task from a channel opens an inline form — title, type, assignee, sprint — and when I submit it, the card appears in the RankOps kanban immediately with the channel's project already selected. The team uses it because it doesn't require switching screens.
Article 12 covers every setting in the Settings → Security panel with screenshots. When enterprise clients ask about compliance, I point them to the article and they can see exactly where each control lives in the interface.
