1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern access to rankar.ai and the Rankar platform, including RankOps, RankAudit, RankAIO, RankBridge, RankWriter, RankTalk, RankTracker, RankSearch, RankLocal, RankLinks, RankLaunch, the Academy, marketplace features, and related services.
By creating an account, joining a workspace, placing an order, or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Rankar for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for your credentials, account activity, and keeping contact details current.
- You may not share individual credentials or bypass seat, usage, or workspace limits.
- Workspace owners and administrators control membership, roles, access, billing settings, and workspace content.
- Tell us promptly at hello@rankar.ai if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. The Rankar service
Rankar provides software for SEO research, workflow management, communication, reporting, content creation, local visibility, and marketplace activity. Features and availability may vary by plan, location, connected provider, and usage allowance.
We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features. If a material change substantially reduces a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practical. Beta or preview features may change or be withdrawn and may be less reliable.
4. Your content and data
You retain ownership of content and data you submit. You grant Rankar a limited, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service or meet legal obligations.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the material and instruct us to process it. You are responsible for lawful notices and permissions when uploading client, employee, customer, or third-party information.
Workspace owners can export or delete supported data. Removal may be delayed where retention is required for security, payment, dispute, backup, or legal reasons.
5. AI output and SEO data
AI-generated content, recommendations, forecasts, and summaries may contain errors or omissions. Search engines and external data providers change continuously. Rankar does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, indexation, link acceptance, or other SEO outcomes.
You must review outputs before publication or business use. Rankar is not a substitute for legal, financial, compliance, or professional advice. Data shown as unavailable is not an estimate.
6. Plans, fees, and billing
- Prices, included usage, renewal periods, and plan limits are shown at purchase or in an applicable order.
- Recurring plans renew automatically until cancelled. You authorise the payment provider to charge applicable fees and taxes.
- You can cancel future renewal through billing settings. Unless required by law or stated in an order, charges already incurred are non-refundable.
- Usage-based charges and credits may have separate limits or expiry terms shown at purchase.
- If payment fails, we may restrict paid features after reasonable notice while preserving access required by law.
Marketplace purchases, escrow, publisher payouts, refunds, and disputes may also be governed by order-specific terms displayed during the transaction.
7. Marketplace responsibilities
RankLinks and publisher features connect buyers and independent publishers. Unless expressly stated for a transaction, Rankar is not the publisher, author, or buyer and does not control third-party websites.
- Buyers must provide lawful, accurate briefs and may not request deceptive, harmful, or prohibited content.
- Publishers must accurately describe websites, traffic, ownership or authority, editorial requirements, placement terms, and pricing.
- Neither party may manipulate verification, move a transaction off-platform to avoid fees, or misrepresent delivery.
- Search performance, indexing, link permanence, and editorial acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend access where needed to protect users, providers, Rankar, or the public.
9. Third-party services
Rankar may connect to search engines, analytics services, payment providers, AI providers, data suppliers, or third-party websites. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their independent actions, availability, data, or changes. You may revoke connected-service access at any time.
10. Rankar intellectual property
Rankar and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, interfaces, brands, documentation, templates, and non-customer content. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation, provided we do not identify you without permission.
11. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public business, technical, or commercial information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care, use it only for the relationship, and disclose it only to people who need it and are bound to protect it. This does not cover information that is public without breach, independently developed, lawfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Rankar or cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful activity, security risk, non-payment, harm to others, or conduct prohibited by these terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy.
After termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain in effect.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rankar is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rankar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data.
Rankar’s total liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid to Rankar for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Rankar against third-party claims arising from your content, unlawful or prohibited use, marketplace conduct, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these terms.
16. Disputes and applicable law
Before filing a formal claim, each party will try in good faith to resolve the dispute by written notice and at least 30 days of discussion. Mandatory consumer protections and rights to approach a regulator or small-claims forum are not affected.
The governing law and forum will be those stated in your order or other written agreement with Rankar. If none is stated, applicable law and jurisdiction will be determined by mandatory conflict-of-law rules. This clause does not create a jurisdictional claim where Rankar has not specified its contracting legal entity.
17. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
Questions may be sent to hello@rankar.ai or through our contact page.
