Rankar · local search visibility
Every SEO signal,
one central workspace.
RankLocal is the local hub of Rankar: rank tracking, keyword research, site and profile audits, citations, competitor analysis, reviews and client reporting share one client record, one score and one credit ledger — for one website or five hundred locations.

The problem
Local search stopped being one list of ten blue links.
A customer three miles away sees a different Map Pack than the one on your screen. And more of them never reach Google at all — they ask an assistant, get three names, and call the first one. Most local SEO tooling still reports on a world that no longer exists.
Your rank is a map, not a number
A single search from your office says you rank third. Scan the same keyword from a grid of points across your service area and the truth is usually a soft centre with a cold ring around it — which is exactly where the customers you are not winning live.
Assistants answer before Google does
ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity now shortlist local businesses directly. They build that shortlist from citations, reviews and structured data — signals nobody is auditing on your behalf, and signals you cannot see in Search Console.
The fixes live in five different tools
The audit is in one tab, the profile editor in another, review replies in a third, citation submissions in a fourth, and the client report is a spreadsheet at midnight. Work gets lost in the gaps between them.
Signature
See your ranking the way your customers do.
Drag the radius. Switch the keyword. This is the geo-grid model that sits under every RankLocal scan.
Try a grid scan
This is the same model our scanner uses: rank is measured from every point, not from your office chair. Change the keyword, widen the radius, and watch how quickly a "number three ranking" becomes invisible three miles out.

How it works
Three steps from blind spot to booked calls.
Most teams get through the first audit in under ten minutes, including the Google connection.
Connect and scan
Add a business by name or address, or connect Google Business Profile for full read and write access. We pull the profile, run the first geo-grid scan, probe six AI assistants and check your citations across the directories that matter.
Read one honest score
You get a visibility score out of 100, split across eight weighted pillars, with every lost point attached to a named issue: a missing category, a thin description, twelve unanswered reviews, four bad NAP records.
Fix and publish
Approve AI-drafted descriptions, services, attributes, posts and review replies, and push them to Google without leaving the app. Re-scan next week and the report writes itself.

Core modules
Six systems that cover the whole local funnel.
Each one is a full product in most stacks. Here they share the same client, the same data and the same score.

The details that make it a workspace, not a report.

Who it is for
One platform, three very different jobs.
Agencies
Run twenty clients from one roster. Switch context in a keystroke, keep data isolated per workspace, and send white-label reports that explain the month without a call. Prospecting is built in: search any category in any city, score every business, and lead with a real audit instead of a cold pitch.
Multi-location brands
Roll up hundreds of stores into one score, then drill into the branch that dropped. Bulk-publish hours, attributes and posts across regions, and give each manager a view scoped to their own location with no access to the rest.
Independent businesses
One location, one owner, no marketing team. The guided plan gives you three things to do this week, drafts the copy, and publishes it. When the grid warms up you will see it in the same place you started.
Under the hood
How the visibility score is built.
No black box. Eight pillars, fixed weights, and the same maths for every business we score.
Hours, attributes, services, products and photos actually filled in.
Primary and secondary categories matched to what converts in your city.
Volume, velocity, rating, keyword content and reply rate.
NAP consistency across the directories Google and LLMs still trust.
Location pages, schema, internal links and embedded intent.
How far your ranking radius stretches from the pin.
Calls, direction requests, clicks and post interaction.
llms.txt, structured data and quotable source pages.
Scores are recomputed on every scan and stored, so the history chart shows real movement rather than a rolling estimate. Because the weights are public, a client can audit your work: if the citation pillar climbed nine points this month, there are nine points of evidence behind it in the task log.
The AI readiness pillar is the newest and the least understood. Assistants prefer sources they can parse and trust: consistent structured data, a clean llms.txt, a page per service that answers the question directly, and third-party citations that agree with each other. We check all four, and generate the files where they are missing.
Everything is multi-tenant from the database up. Workspaces, clients and locations are separated with row-level security, roles are stored in their own table, and every external call is logged against a credit ledger you can inspect line by line.

Rankar
RankLocal is the hub. The suite plugs into it.
Every Rankar tool reads the same clients, locations, keywords and credit ledger. RankLocal is where their output comes together into one score, one task list and one report — so you stop reconciling five dashboards by hand.
Rankar
The suite is the family of SEO products. Each one owns a job — tracking, auditing, links, research, reputation, reporting.
The central workspace every module reports into.
Your workflow
One login, one client switcher, one permission model. Turn a module on and it appears as another surface — never another account to reconcile.
Comparison
Why one central workspace beats five disconnected tools.
The usual stack is a rank tracker, a citation service and a review tool, each with its own export, its own login and its own version of the truth. RankLocal keeps the same jobs on one client record — here is what each layer actually covers.

FAQ
Questions we get every week.
What exactly is RankLocal?
RankLocal is the central SEO workspace in the Rankar. It measures and improves how often a business appears in Google's Map Pack, in local organic results, and in answers produced by AI assistants — then gives you the tooling to fix what is holding each location back, without leaving the workspace.
How does RankLocal fit into Rankar?
Rankar is the family of tools; RankLocal is the hub they plug into. Rank Tracker, Rank Audit, Rank Reviews, Rank Links, Rank Search and Rank Reports all read the same clients, locations, keywords and credit ledger, and they surface their results inside RankLocal rather than in separate dashboards.
Do I need the other Rankar tools to use RankLocal?
No. RankLocal works on its own — audits, geo-grid scans, AI answer checks, review replies and reporting all run from the hub. The sibling modules are already wired in, so switching one on adds a surface to the same workspace instead of another login.
Which SEO workflows can I manage from one place?
Rank tracking across a geo-grid, keyword research and market sizing, technical and profile audits, citation and NAP cleanup, competitor analysis, review management, and client reporting. Each workflow writes back to the same client record, so the score, the task list and the report always agree.
How is this different from a rank tracker?
A rank tracker tells you a number. RankLocal tells you why the number moved and what to change. Every audit pillar maps to a concrete action, and most of those actions can be published straight to Google Business Profile from inside the app.
Do I need a Google Business Profile to start?
No. You can run an audit, a geo-grid scan and an AI visibility check on any public business by address. Connecting the profile unlocks the write side: publishing descriptions, services, attributes, posts and review replies.
Is connecting my Google account safe?
Yes. Authorisation uses Google's official OAuth flow, tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and we request the minimum scopes needed to read and update the profiles you select. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account or from the app.
Where does the ranking data come from?
Map pack and organic data come from live SERP scans through DataForSEO, run from coordinates you choose. Profile data comes directly from the Google Business Profile API. Nothing is estimated from a shared cache.
How does AI answer visibility actually work?
We send a rotating set of buyer-intent prompts for your category and city to each assistant, record whether your business is named, in what position, and which domains the answer cited. Over time you get a trend line per assistant plus a source matrix showing which citations do the heavy lifting.
Can I white-label RankLocal for my agency?
Yes. Agency plans include your logo, one of six accent themes, a custom report domain, and client-facing share links with no RankLocal branding.
How many locations can one workspace hold?
Solo starts at one location, Pro covers ten, and Agency is priced per location block with no hard ceiling. Rollups, filters and bulk scans stay responsive at several hundred locations.
What does a credit cover?
One credit is one billable external call: a geo-grid point scan, a keyword lookup, an AI probe, or an AI generation. The usage page shows a live ledger so a large scan never surprises you at the end of the month.
Will AI-generated content sound generic?
The generators read your real profile, services, reviews and competitors before writing, and every draft is editable before it is published. You are approving copy, not accepting it blind.
Can my team collaborate in the same workspace?
Yes. Invite teammates by email and assign owner, admin, editor or viewer roles. Permissions are enforced in the database with row-level security, not just hidden in the interface.
Do you offer a trial or a refund?
Every plan starts with a 14-day trial that includes a full audit, one geo-grid scan and an AI visibility check. If the first month does not earn its keep, email us and we refund it.
How long until I see movement?
Profile fixes and category corrections often move the grid within two to three weeks. Citation cleanup and review velocity compound over one to two quarters. AI answer visibility tends to follow citation quality with a lag of about a month.
