The toxicity score
Every backlink receives a toxicity score based on factors including the linking domain's spam signals, unnatural anchor text patterns, and link placement context such as being part of a large sitewide footer link block. Scores are grouped into low, medium and high risk bands in the Toxic Links tab.

Reviewing flagged links
Clicking a high-risk link opens a breakdown explaining exactly which factors contributed to the score, since not every flagged link needs action — some are false positives worth reviewing manually before deciding to disavow.
Building a disavow file
Selecting links and adding them to the disavow list builds a file in the format search engines expect, which can be downloaded directly from the Disavow tab once you have finished reviewing all flagged candidates.

Monitoring after disavow submission
After submitting a disavow file externally, mark the batch as "submitted" in RankBridge so future toxic link scans exclude those domains from fresh alerts, keeping the report focused on genuinely new risks.
