Presenting the decision
Assigning a niche to a client
From any shortlisted niche, click Assign to Client and choose an existing client workspace or create a new one, which copies the niche's validated data into a client-visible view.
The client view strips out your internal scoring notes and competitor commentary by default, showing only the polished summary unless you choose to share more.
Controlling visibility
Use the Visibility toggle on each section — scoring, competitors, keywords, domains, brand — to decide exactly what a client sees when they log in or receive a shared link.
This is useful when you are still comparing multiple niches internally but only want to present the two or three worth a client decision.
Presenting the decision
Open Presentation Mode to view the niche as a clean, scrollable client-facing summary with your branding, ready to screen-share or export as a link.
A built-in comment thread lets the client ask questions or approve the niche directly inside the workspace instead of over email.

Why this matters
Failing to properly package and hand off a validated niche within RankLaunch can lead to significant project delays and client dissatisfaction. Imagine a scenario where a client, having approved a niche concept during the presentation stage, discovers the actual tracking setup is misaligned with the agreed parameters. This could mean crucial keywords are missing, or competitive benchmarks are incorrect. Such discrepancies erode trust, forcing your team to revisit foundational work, re-establish expectations, and potentially re-onboard the client to a revised tracking schema, all of which consumes unbilled agency time and damages project momentum.
Conversely, a meticulously prepared niche hand-off, leveraging RankLaunch's packaging features, ensures a seamless transition from validation to active campaign management. When the client receives a fully configured, accurate tracking environment that mirrors the presented data, they immediately gain confidence in your agency's execution. This clarity allows your team to focus on strategic optimisation rather than firefighting administrative errors. It accelerates the deployment of content and technical SEO initiatives, leading to quicker demonstrable results and reinforcing the value proposition, thereby fostering a stronger, more profitable client relationship built on efficiency and clear communication.
Post-Handover Tracking Audit: Ensuring Data Integrity
After a niche is launched and the client gains access, conducting a rigorous post-handover tracking audit is crucial for maintaining data integrity and client confidence. This audit ensures that the live tracking environment within RankLaunch accurately reflects the validated niche strategy and all agreed-upon parameters. Discrepancies, however minor, can cascade into misinformed strategic decisions or erode client trust if not caught early. It acts as a final quality control gate, safeguarding against human error during the configuration phase and confirming that the client is receiving precisely what was presented and approved.
The audit should be performed systematically, comparing the live RankLaunch tracking configuration against the final approved niche validation report. This includes cross-referencing keyword lists, target URLs, competitive sets, and any custom tracking segments. Identifying and rectifying any deviations immediately prevents later issues, such as misattributing performance or reporting on irrelevant data points. This proactive measure not only guarantees the accuracy of ongoing reports but also demonstrates your agency’s commitment to precision and client success, providing a stable foundation for long-term SEO performance monitoring and optimisation efforts.
- Verify all target keywords are present and correctly grouped.
- Confirm competitor profiles are accurate and comprehensive.
- Check that geographic targeting parameters match the validated strategy.
- Validate integration points with external reporting dashboards if applicable.
